Fidell BM AB joins the social construction platform XPartners

On November 19, Stockholm-based Fidell AB joined the technology consulting group XPartners Samhällsbyggnad AB. Fidell is the fifth company to join the group. With the deal, the XPartners group is further strengthened in terms of competence and resources and grows to almost SEK 300 million in turnover. The employees of Fidell become partners in XPartners and continue the operational work in their own company under the Fidell brand. The capital investment company Evolver Equity is behind the XPartners group.

The deal closely follows the investments in Bsv arkitekter & ingenierer, Hedström & Taube, KMP and Contekton and constitutes another important step in XPartners’ ambition to create a nationwide multidisciplinary civil engineering actor with a focus on sustainability and diversity in the built environment. After the deal, the XPartners group has a combined pro forma turnover of approximately SEK 300 million, just over 200 employees and a broad customer offering with establishments in twelve locations in the southern, western and eastern parts of the country. XPartners will continue to expand geographically and disciplinary, both organically and through add-on acquisitions.

XPartner’s business model is based on the basic philosophy of “the big little company” and value creation through collaboration and intrapreneurship, where each company maintains its own identity but benefits from the advantages that group membership and a common service organization provide in areas such as personnel development and financial management.
