On April 30, Evolver Fund I became the new majority shareholder in Värnamo-based Bsv arkitekter & ingenjerer AB. Bsv is a leading architectural and technical consulting company in southern Sweden, with a strong focus on the environment and community building. The company has a turnover of approximately SEK 110 million. The deal is the first building block in the creation of a nationwide, multidisciplinary technology consulting group within Environment & Civil Engineering through the acquisition of a local industry-leading company. The deal is the fund’s third investment.

The management of bsv, Johnny Grauengard, Mikael Rigert, Tom Eriksson and Mikael andersson, with the deal becomes a significant shareholder in the new group and continues to lead the operational work of bsv under its own brand. The ambition is to continue to grow organically and develop the customer offer together with industry-leading colleagues around Sweden.

Vänersborg-based Contekton Arkitekter Fyrstad AB and Stockholm-based Hedström & Taube and KMP Konsult AB have on June 23 joined the newly formed technical consulting group XPartners Samhällsbyggnad AB. Through the additional acquisitions, the group is strengthened in terms of competence and geography and grows to almost a quarter of a billion kroner in turnover. The companies’ key personnel become partners in the XPartners group and continue to lead the operational work in each company under their own brand. The capital investment company Evolver Equity is behind the XPartners group.

The three deals closely follow Evolver’s investment in Värnamo-based Bsv arkitekter & ingénjerer AB on April 30, a deal that formed the starting point for the plan to build a nationwide multidisciplinary civil engineering player with a focus on the sustainability of the built environment through the acquisition of locally leading architectural and technical consulting companies. With a combined proforma turnover of SEK 235 million, 170 employees, a broad customer offering and operating locations in twelve locations in southern, western and east-central Sweden, the companies form a solid platform for continued acquired and organic growth.
