All our companies are fully owned by the group, and the group itself is majority-owned by the people who work in it. Our story
XPartners was founded in 2021 with a clear ambition: to bring together leading specialist companies in the built environment – without taking away what made them successful in the first place. From the start, our model was different. We believed in entrepreneurship, in long-term ownership, and in the power of collaboration between like-minded individuals who build and lead companies.
What began with a handful of companies in Sweden has grown into a network of over 50, spanning the Nordics. While the group has expanded rapidly, the core idea remains unchanged: to support great companies by giving them the freedom to lead, and the tools to grow – together. We are building something long-term, with people who care deeply about what they do.
Why we are calledXPartners
We chose a name that reflects not only who we are, but how we grow.
In mathematics, X often represents the unknown – a variable with endless potential. For us, it stands for all the future partners, ideas and opportunities we have not discovered yet. It is a reminder that we are building something open, dynamic and constantly evolving.
Partners reflects our belief that progress happens through collaboration. We do not acquire companies to absorb them – we team up with them. We work alongside experts who share our values, but bring their own perspectives, strengths and cultures.
